Jude King is an Ad Product Counsel at Facebook. Prior to this role, she was an associate in Osborne Clarke’s Commercial team, specialising in advertising and marketing issues. Jude has also spent time on secondment with a multi-national FMCG client advising on a wide range of commercial and media licensing issues. Before starting her training contract, Jude worked as an Investigations Executive for the Advertising Standards Authority and was responsible for investigating complaints concerning all forms of advertising in broadcast and non-broadcast media. She provided advice and liaised with ad agencies, brand owners and other regulatory bodies to negotiate amendments to problematic adverts to ensure compliance with the UK Advertising Codes. Jude’s recent work includes advising a social media platform on its advertising regulatory compliance across various sectors and carrying out intellectual property audits for an international app developer, advising on the licensing of its content across a range of platforms and applications.
