Hannah Pye

Trainee Solicitor, Allen & Overy LLP
Hannah is a trainee solicitor at Allen & Overy LLP. During her training contract, Hannah has gained a broad range of experience in litigation (with a focus on public law and commercial disputes), corporate M&A and project finance. She is currently on secondment to Heathrow’s legal team.
 
Hannah’s pro bono achievements include supporting an NGO’s successful intervention in a case regarding access to legal aid for immigration detainees held in prisons. She has worked on proceedings concerning complex extradition and human rights issues and has contributed to a number of international projects on child detention and reproductive and educational rights for women. In the social mobility space, Hannah supports a number of organisations that provide mentoring schemes for aspiring solicitors from first-generation university backgrounds.
 
Prior to commencing her legal training, Hannah studied German at St Hugh’s College, Oxford and taught English in Austria for a year during her studies.
