Executive Business Programme for In-house Counsel
Designed in conjunction with leading In-house counsel to expand commercial acumen, strategic thinking and leadership capability so you add real value to your business.
A part-time face-to-face and online learning programme with Cranfield School of Management
56 CPD hours
The programme has two unique features:
- Insight into the type of learning that In-house lawyers and their organisations really need. LexisNexis and the Centre for Customised Executive Development at Cranfield School of Management have worked together to research and develop a programme which creates maximum impact for In-house lawyers and their sponsoring organisations. Insights from award winning In-house lawyers, Government institutions, research bodies, and Cranfield’s faculty have led to the development of the Commercial Counsel Concept that underpins the programme.
- The programme design has been inspired by Cranfield’s experience as a leading executive educator. Four intensive face-to-face modules at Cranfield are combined with the practical application of new tools, perspectives and behaviours over an eleven month period. This means participants learn by tackling the real business challenges they already face. This approach is proven to accelerate the rate at which participants start to contribute at a more strategic level within their business.
"Of greatest benefit has been the positive impact to my current role through having a deeper understanding of business, how and where legal fits into the individual business and, importantly, how the in-house legal department can add value and function optimally."
Robert Marr, Litigation Director, Aktiv Kapital
