Dr Paul Hughes
Paul is a member of the EMEA Client Engagement Team and a global Senior Faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership©. Despite his academic qualifications Paul has a very practical approach that places a client’s market, organisational and underlying challenges at the core of all he does. Drawing on his rich and varied real world experiences his role is mostly helping clients have the leadership needed to achieve their organisational strategic aims. His work is strongly focused on leadership and management development, organizational and cultural change strongly linked to practical real world impact. He is also involved in the creation of thought leadership on the subject of leadership and how it is developed, building on his doctorate which was awared for researching connections between leadership practice and performance in a multi billion global organisation. At CCL he designs and delivers global blended-learning, executive team, cultural transformation and organizational development interventions, for large and small, national and multinational organisations in a wide range of sectors across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. In his career he has worked within complex alliances, joint venture models, or sub-contractor reliant models, in a wide range of clients. In the last 15 years he has worked with Linklaters, DLA Piper, Addleshaw Goddard and Gowling WLG, as well as GC’s and legal teams from Arm Ltd, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Canopius and Vodafone.
