Harriet is an experienced commercial disputes and regulatory lawyer with a specialism in life sciences.

Harriet advises across the life sciences (and consumer product) lifecycle, in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has broad experience across medical devices, pharmaceutical, medtech and consumer products.

Harriet’s contentious experience includes multi-jurisdictional and group action product liability litigation (such as metal-on-metal) and commercial disputes, including contractual and post-M&A disputes. Her non-contentious practice includes risk management, regulatory engagement (including recall and investigations), advertising and crisis management.

Harriet specialises in complex, high profile matters, often with a cross border element and as coordinating counsel for matters with a multi-jurisdictional focus.

Harriet has extensive experience in UK High Court litigation as well as in coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation and regulatory matters worldwide.

Harriet is committed to D&I initiatives and is co-head of the women’s network at Freshfields.
