Libby Robinson

RSK
Libby is an Environmental Consultant within RSK’s Carbon and Sustainability team. Originally with a background in geology, she has several years’ experience liaising with clients and working on multidisciplinary projects as a senior geoscientist and product owner in the hydrocarbon industry. Soon to graduate with a PhD in Climate Science, she is well-versed in managing and interpreting complex datasets, critically reviewing reports, and understanding the impacts of climate change on our world. Her PhD investigated the environmental impacts of a rapidly warming world in the Cretaceous, when temperatures were the highest the world has seen in over 100 million years, major perturbations occurred in the carbon cycle and many species became extinct. Libby has worked with DEFRA, the UK governmental Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, to investigate Greenhouse Gas Removal strategies with a focus on biochar and land-based carbon sequestration techniques.
