Robert Scheininger
Robert Scheininger is a member of Dentons’ Corporate practice. He represents banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds and other financial institutions in secondary market trading and special situation investing.
Robert has extensive experience advising clients on diverse transactions involving syndicated loans, bankruptcy claims, offshore and onshore liquidation claims, litigation funding transactions, private debt and equity securities, and other distressed and illiquid assets in the US and globally. He also has substantial experience in structuring and negotiating loan and bankruptcy claim portfolio transactions as well as alternative financing arrangements.
Robert’s work covers the spectrum of secondary market trading and special situation investing and includes analysing credit and governing documents, providing structuring advice, creating joint ventures and investment vehicles, drafting and negotiating transfer documentation and navigating complex closing mechanics. In addition, he advises financial institutions on loan trading procedures as well as issues relating to the use of material non-public information and confidential information in the loan market.
Robert is a member of LSTA and an active participant in the LSTA Practices and Forms Committee and is a frequent presenter on issues involving the secondary market.
