Tomoko Ikawa is a partner at Simmons & Simmons LLP, specialising in providing transfer pricing services, focusing on advising multinational enterprises particularly in the Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) sector, the TMT sector and the Financial Services sector. Tomoko's transfer pricing expertise spans across the entire transfer pricing lifecycle, from risk and opportunity assessment, transfer pricing and operating model design, as well as global transfer pricing compliance and unilateral, bilateral and multilateral dispute resolution (including transfer pricing and diverted profits tax (DPT) enquiries and advance pricing agreements (APAs)).

She advises her clients on a range of transfer pricing and related tax issues, working closely with other specialists within as well as outside of Tax, to provide an integrated and practical solution to respond to her clients' business issues across the entire value chain, and covering topics such as international expansion, business restructuring, post-merger integration, Brexit, and digitalisation.

Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons in 2019, Tomoko worked for over 13 years in leading transfer pricing practices at Big 4 accountancy firms in the UK and in Japan.
