Nora Bullock
Nora is an experienced financial services and investment funds lawyer, and published author, who trained and practiced for most of her career at Hogan Lovells in their London Financial Institutions Group.
Nora was a member of the LexisPSL Brexit and Sustainable finance working groups and also one of the founding members of the London funds professional support lawyer network. She focuses primarily on investment funds and asset management as well as sustainable finance.
In practice, Nora worked on a wide range of regulatory and transactional matters, ranging from advising on new financial product launches, global customer terms and internet services, conduct of business requirements and compliance manuals, funds supermarkets, to fund and JV establishments and investments into funds, cross-border marketing of funds, fund transfers and legal and regulatory change projects.
As the first professional support lawyer in the Hogan Lovells investment funds team, Nora created the PSL function, edited the Funds Bulletin and was in charge of training and practice development. More recently, Nora practiced as a senior associate in the financial services team at Dechert and thereafter as a professional support lawyer in the funds and indirect real assets team at CMS in London (where she was also a member of the firm’s Sustainable finance and responsible investment group).
Nora also has in-house experience from secondments to Barclays Wealth, working for example with regulatory change projects and intra-group ISA transfers.
