Claire has developed a strong practice since coming to the Bar in 1988 with a particular specialism in matrimonial finance cases involving farming partnerships, commercial aspects, family trusts and pre nuptial settlements.
The diversity of Claire's practice due to competency also encompasses a specialism in matters pertaining to children ' both public law (some high profile) and private (including child abduction from non Hague Convention countries) and also includes financial applications concerning children.
Claire is able to utilise skills developed through the Mental Health Review Tribunal to enhance her knowledge base and ability top assist clients and her family practice provides a useful backdrop in mental health cases.
Claire's court appearances include High Court and the Court of Appeal which involve reported cases due to complexity.
