Precedents

These are precedent application programming interface (API) terms of use (sometimes also referred to as an API policy), which are intended for use when the licensor of an online platform grants the developer of an application (app) rights to use the API to interface between the platform and the app in a business to business context. This will enable the developer to build on the platform, and integrate its own services with those of the API licensor. It is common for licensors to give developers free access to their API for this purpose.
