Kira is a Commercial Chancery Barrister specialising in civil fraud, contentious trusts, insolvency, company and commercial litigation. Kira appears regularly in the Chancery and Queen’s Bench Divisions of the High Court. Kira has particular experience of urgent interlocutory applications. Kira recently appeared (with George Laurence QC) in the Supreme Court case of Dorset County Council v Trail Riders Fellowship  UKSC 18.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Kira trained and qualified as a solicitor at Baker & Mckenzie LLP, where she gained experience in contentious trusts, international fraud and general commercial litigation. Kira subsequently worked as a solicitor for Eversheds LLP where she specialised in pensions and related trusts litigation. Kira has also spent time working for the offshore law firm Forbes Hare in the British Virgin Islands where she specialised in insolvency, civil fraud and distressed investment fund litigation.
