Leonie Brabant

Solicitor, Bates Wells
I am a Solicitor in the Charity and Social Enterprise team at Bates Wells. I advise charities, not-for-profits, and mission-driven businesses on a wide range of legal matters including governance, structuring, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts. I have a particular interest in climate, nature, and supporting the just transition to a low-carbon economy.

Prior to joining Bates Wells, I worked at The Chancery Lane Project, where I worked with FTSE 100 sustainability professionals and developed legal tools to embed climate-conscious drafting into commercial contracts.

We can see, often in real time, conflict, injustice, humanitarian emergencies and environmental
