Bethanie Chambers
Bethanie is a junior barrister with a growing specialist practice in aviation law. She acts in high-value commercial aviation disputes involving complex technical, contractual and commercial issues. Her aviation practice encompasses disputes arising from aircraft leasing, maintenance and other commercial arrangements. She is currently retained as sole counsel in a major dispute on behalf of one of Europe’s leading airlines concerning aircraft maintenance and raising significant issues of negligence and causation, and in separate proceedings concerning the sale of multiple aircraft. Her wider practice spans commercial, group and competition litigation, including substantial disputes in domestic and international contexts.
Recognised by The Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” in aviation law in two consecutive editions, Bethanie is increasingly instructed in complex aviation matters and has developed a strong reputation in the sector. She combines close attention to the factual and technical detail of a case with a practical and collaborative approach to litigation. Her instructing solicitors describe her as “very detail-focussed, excellent with clients, and operating at a level beyond her year of call”.
