Nabarun Ray
Nabarun focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, ESG, and corporate restructuring. He has been involved in advising multinational corporations, start-ups, private equity firms, and SMEs on a wide range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border transactions, investment structuring, and insolvency-related advisory. He most recently served as a Senior Associate at Trilegal and has previously held associate positions at Khaitan & Co and IndusLaw (now CMS IndusLaw). He holds a BBA/LLB degree from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU), along with a Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws.
Nabarun has experience assisting clients on transactional, regulatory, and strategic matters across sectors. He has worked on matters involving FDI policy, FPI regulations, capital markets, share capital restructuring, external commercial borrowings, and insolvency resolution processes. He is also an active contributor to legal thought leadership, having authored and co-authored articles published on Mondaq and Lexology, as well as a book chapter on transboundary environmental harm published by Eastern Book Company. During his time at GNLU, Nabarun received the Best Research Paper Award in four consecutive academic years.
