Peter O'Hare
Peter O’Hare is a Partner in the London Finance team at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. He advises leading aircraft leasing companies, financial institutions and airlines on complex cross-border aviation finance transactions, including aircraft and engine trades, leases, financings, structured debt and portfolio transactions.
Peter has experience across the full lifecycle of aviation transactions, from origination and structuring through to restructuring, work-outs and repossessions. He has led transactions involving non-U.S. enhanced equipment trust certificates, asset-backed securitisations, mergers and acquisitions, large portfolio and warehouse financings, Japanese operating lease financings, sale and leasebacks and secured lending facilities.
Peter is recognised by Chambers UK for Asset Finance: Aviation Finance and by The Legal 500 UK for Transport Finance and Leasing and Aviation. He was also named to Airline Economics’ 40 Under 40 in 2020 and is a frequent speaker and author on developments in aviation finance and asset-backed securitisation.
