Emma Doherty

Emma is a Partner in Matheson’s corporate department. Emma works with international companies, assisting in establishing, expanding and operating their businesses in Ireland. She advises clients on complex legal issues arising on international transactions involving Irish subsidiaries of foreign companies. Emma advises on a broad range of corporate reorganisations and regularly leads group-wide multi-jurisdictional international restructuring projects. She also advises clients on a broad range of contract, corporate governance and business-related issues, as well as providing ongoing advice and strategic counselling to clients. She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute, as well as the Company Law Review Group, an expert advisory body on the review and development of company law in Ireland.
