Kim’s practice centres around competition and consumer protection law, both in her private practice at Linklaters LLP and her research as a PhD candidate at UEA.
In her private practice, Kim helps business clients navigate complex regulatory compliance, across a range of sectors and jurisdictions. She advises on competition and consumer protection compliance, investigations, and merger control mandates.
Studying under the supervision of Andreas Stephan and Amelia Fletcher, Kim’s PhD thesis focusses on how lessons from behavioural economics can be used to reconceptualise the average consumer test and consider consumer / user decision-making more broadly under competition, consumer protection, and digital markets regulation.
