George Herring
George is an Associate in the Intellectual Property group at Simmons & Simmons. He advises on the IP aspects of complex commercial and corporate transactions across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on structuring, negotiating and implementing high‑value deals involving technology and innovation‑driven assets.
He also has experience acting for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies on sophisticated cross‑border licensing, collaboration and strategic partnering arrangements, often involving cutting‑edge products and global development and commercialisation programmes.
Before joining Simmons & Simmons, George practised at a leading US law firm in London and spent time on secondment to a major biopharmaceutical company.
George holds a first‑class degree from the University of Cambridge.
