Michelle Craven-Faulkner is a highly respected commercial contracts lawyer with over 20 years of experience in private practice, following a successful in-house career. She specializes in providing advice on all aspects of the supply and purchase of assets, goods, and services, with a particular focus on engineering and major projects. Michelle's extensive industry background has forged a strong connection to the rail sector, where she is recognized as a leading expert. 
 
Michelle heads up the Strategic Commercial Contracts team within the wider commercial team and serves as the National Rail lead. As part of those roles she also sits on the Commercial Team’s strategic board and the Mobility, Logistics and Manufacturing Sector Executive Committee which is responsible for setting sector strategy and representing Shoosmiths in the marketplace. Additionally, she regularly provides training to clients on a wide range of contractual matters and manages the Commercial Team’s internal training programme.
 
Her client base includes notable players in the rail sector, automotive OEMs, tech businesses, engineering and manufacturing businesses, and transport solution companies.
