Jack Jeffries

Jack Jeffries is a competition and regulatory lawyer based in London, with a broad practice encompassing merger control, Competition Act investigations, compliance advice, and advising companies in regulated sectors on CMA appeals.
 
Jack has first-hand experience of supporting clients in critical scenarios including responding to dawn raids, conducting internal investigations, and has advised on a range of sectors including energy and water utilities, financial services, technology, and consumer markets.
 
Between September 2021 and March 2022, Jack was seconded to the Phase 1 Mergers team at the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), where he worked on several transactions including cases resolved by remedies at Phase 1 and cases referred to an in-depth Phase 2 review.
