Kevin Gibbs

I have been a chartered town planner for 30 years and a planning and infrastructure solicitor for 25 years. For 12 years until early 2025 I was partner in the Womble Bond Dickinson planning and infrastructure team which in 2023 was named Planning Law Firm of the year awarded by the Royal Town Planning Institute. I have led teams of lawyers on the promotion of multiple development consent orders and transport and works orders in the energy and transport sectors. In particular, I have advised on nuclear, offshore and onshore wind, solar, heat network and transmission schemes as well as railway, major road and guided bus schemes across the UK. Through my advice on energy schemes, particularly on transmission and connection issues and the evolving heat network infrastructure, I have been involved in the growing AI and data centre industry.
