Dr Gabriel Brennan

Dr Gabriel Brennan is a passionate educator particularly in the area of property law. She served on the Law Society’s Conveyancing Committee for over two decades. Gabriel acts as an internal examiner and external examiner with the Institute of Professional Legal Studies Queen's University Belfast. She supervises masters and Ph.D. students with Leeds Beckett University and Northumbria University Newcastle.

She has authored numerous articles and books, on conveyancing, landlord and tenant and property law generally, ground rents, eConveyancing and title registration. She is senior advisor to the Law Society’s eConveyancing project, advocating for reform of the conveyancing process through engagement with stakeholders. She is the Property Law Lead for the Law Society’s Diploma in Law and Programme Director for the Skillnet Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Education. Her areas of specialism are land and property law, eConveyancing and professional education.
