Nina Gurney, MA, TEP
Nina is a private client and trusts lawyer with over two decades of experience who has recently moved into a professional support lawyer role. She has particular expertise in private client; family office; trusts; and trust corporations. Nina studied law at Oxford and trained with a City law firm before moving to the Channel Islands where she gained experience in private practice and in-house with a large corporate trustee.
On her return to the UK, Nina joined the private family office of an ultra-high nett worth family, advising on a range of issues, including significant offshore trust litigation and various corporate and employment related matters.
Nina also has experience in anti-money laundering and compliance and has acted as MLRO and MLCO. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”); sits on the STEP disciplinary panel; and is a member of the STEP Code of Conduct Working Group.
