With a background in construction supervision and over 20 years of consulting experience, Lee Clarke is a highly accomplished Principal Hydrogeologist and Hydrologist, with a technical background in geology, geophysics, hydrogeology, hydrology, and drainage design.

A Chartered Geologist, Lee specialises in the interaction between surface water and groundwater, with expertise across the agriculture, quarrying, built environment, and infrastructure sectors. At Envireau Water—one of the UK’s leading water consultancies—Lee leads the numerical hydrological analysis team, providing expert numerical and analytical input into hydrogeological and hydrological risk assessments, environmental modelling, flood risk analysis, and drainage system design.

Lee is also a trained expert witness, having completed the highly acclaimed Cardiff University Law School/Bond Solon (CUBS) programme. With expert knowledge in regulatory processes, Lee has provided written evidence with respect to hydrology, water treatment, flood risk and drainage in a range of cases in both the court and planning arenas.
