Miranda Egan Langley is a Barrister whose practice is a primarily Human Rights based practice, specifically in Criminal law, Extradition, Asylum and Immigration and Judicial Review.

She has brought in excess of 50 legal challenges before the High Court in relation to breaches of fair procedures, failure to provide reasoned decisions, breach of constitutional justice and the ECHR. These cases sought orders of mandamus, certiorari, and declaratory relief based on grounds of vires and errors of law, abdication of statutory discretion, breach of constitutional and ECHR law.

In 2023 she was appointed to the International Protection Appeals Tribunal as a Tribunal Member.

In 2023 she was also appointed to IHREC’s Specialist Human Rights Law Panel and the Dublin Circuit Court Prosecution Panel.
