Eri Hertiawan
Eri is the Co-Head of the Dispute Resolution practice group at Assegaf Hamzah & Partners. He is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in commercial disputes, alternative dispute resolution, aviation, and shipping.
He is the first Indonesian advocate to be appointed as a member of the SIAC Court of Arbitration. He is also included in SIAC’s panel of arbitrators, placing him among a select group of distinguished arbitration specialists. In addition, he is accredited as a mediator by the Indonesian National Mediation Centre (Pusat Mediasi Nasional) and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in the United Kingdom.
As an all-round disputes lawyer, Eri regularly advises and represents clients in high-profile tort, corporate and banking, antitrust, and criminal matters. He is particularly well regarded for his arbitration expertise and frequently appears in proceedings under a wide range of institutional rules, including UNCITRAL, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI), and other arbitral forums.
