Erica Werneman Root

Erica qualified as a solicitor in 2014 with Eversheds Sutherland and spent a decade with the firm across London and international offices. She worked as a senior associate in the Data Protection team before moving in-house to head up a privacy team at a health tech scaleup. Since 2023 she has been consulting via her own company and she regularly works with AI developers, law firms, multinationals and early-stage companies. Erica has considerable experience in building compliance solutions and training programs.
