Rusa Tchkuaseli
Rusa Tchkuaseli is a Partner at BLC Law office. Rusa is actively involved in cross-border dispute resolution as well. She has acted for claimant and respondent parties in a wide range of commercial arbitration matters (including under ICC, LCIA and SCC rules in London, Geneva, Stockholm and Georgia) and an investment arbitration under ICSID rules. She is a President of Georgian Association of Arbitrators and a co-trainer for accreditation program for arbitrators launched by the association in 2019 (designed to increase knowledge and skills of arbitration practitioners in Georgia). Rusa is also an invited lecturer at the Free University of Tbilisi where she teaches introductory course to international commercial arbitration.
Rusa has an LL.M. degree from the University of Oslo, Norway (2013) and Master’s Degree in law from the Tbilisi State University, Georgia (2012). She has obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in law from Tbilisi State University, Georgia (2009). As non-degree studies, Rusa spent a semester at the Vilnius University, Lithuania (2008) where she studied EU law. Rusa Tchkuaseli is admitted to Georgian Bar since 2012.
