Norma studied Economics, Politics and Law in DCU prior to qualifying as a Barrister in the Honourable Society of the King’s Inns in 2014. In her first years of practice she was also a member of local government, sitting on Dublin City Council between 2016 and 2019. 

She is currently  practicing in civil law with a particular interest in Intellectual Property, Technology Law, Data Protection, Fintech, AI & Machine Learning. She has tutored students in both DCU and the Law Society of Ireland and is a Committee Member of Media, Internet and Data Protection Bar Association, established in 2023.
