Christopher Valente is a partner in the Boston and Washington, D.C. offices of K&L Gates, where he focuses on complex commercial disputes for global clients across the construction and infrastructure, financial services, manufacturing, and tech and biotech sectors. He represents clients in state and federal court litigation throughout the United States, as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings under a range of institutional and ad hoc rules.

Technology and innovation are central to how Mr. Valente thinks about and approaches the practice of law. Over the years, he has served on the firm's innovation committee and has been deeply engaged in leveraging technology to drive efficiencies and better outcomes for clients. From 2023 to 2026, he led K&L Gates' AI Solutions Group, which was charged with driving the firm's strategic approach to artificial intelligence — both in the firm's own operations and in delivering solutions for clients. He speaks regularly on the opportunities, challenges, and legal risks of AI and generative AI in legal practice and dispute resolution.
