Neil has acted for both insurers and companies in commercial litigation matters in respect of damage to their property on foot of negligence, breach of contract and statutory schemes. He has expertise in dealing with large business interruption claims for clients in many sectors including renewable energy and technology.
He has acted for companies and shareholders in respect of minority oppression claims and large asset recovery claims with a multi-jurisdictional element.
Neil specialises in insurance litigation acting for both major insurers and self-insured's in defending personal injury claims. He has significant experience in acting in catastrophic injury cases representing clients in claims arising from road traffic accidents, employer's liability, public liability, product liability and travel and cross-border claims. He has experience of dealing with periodical payment orders and the arbitration of disputes on policy cover.
He is admitted to the roll of solicitors in for both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
