Ben is a specialist real property and chancery barrister with significant experience in private client and commercial dispute resolution.

Ben acts in the full spectrum of property matters, from residential and commercial property leasehold disputes to esoteric and legally complex cases where multiple other areas of law intersect with real property work.
 
Ben regularly acts in cases concerning real property issues, drainage, agricultural land, woodlands, development and construction disputes. 
 
Ben has acted in a number of complex disputes and has accumulated considerable experience in dealing with litigation arising out of properties of architectural significance, buildings constructed using novel methods and litigation concerning house boats and caravans.
 
Prior to qualifying as a barrister, Ben obtained an LLB in Law and an LLM in International Law and was a recipient of a number of scholarships and academic prizes. Subsequently, Ben has gone on to work as an academic in the field of public and European Union law at the University of Birmingham.
