Colin Liew is Head of International Litigation at Providence Law Asia LLC, whose practice focuses on international dispute resolution and arbitration. He has considerable experience of large-scale ad hoc and institutional arbitrations in building and construction, commodities, sale of goods and pharmaceuticals. In addition, Colin is frequently instructed to advise on and act in arbitration-related litigation, where he has had substantial experience in successfully appealing domestic awards, setting aside and defending international awards, as well as obtaining anti-suit injunctions.

Colin has been repeatedly recognised as one of Singapore’s leading lawyers by various legal directories, which describe him as a “superb advocate and well-rounded practitioner” who is “one of the sharpest legal minds of his generation”. He also writes and publishes extensively on arbitration-related jurisprudence.

Colin graduated with a First Class degree in Jurisprudence at the top of his year from the University of Oxford, receiving a suite of academic prizes including the Martin Wronker Prize (Best Overall Performance) and the All Souls Prize in Best Performance in Public International Law. Colin is admitted in Singapore and in England & Wales.
