Judy Fu

Judy is a commercial barrister with broad experience in complex disputes. She has acted in arbitrations conducted under all of the major sets of institutional rules, including LCIA, ICC, SCC, ICSID, HKIAC, and SIAC Rules, as well as ad hoc arbitration under UNCITRAL Rules. Judy also has a broad litigation practice, including in commercial, civil fraud, company, cryptocurrency/digital assets, banking and financial services, group litigation, shareholder disputes, and ESG (particularly climate change) litigation. She is called to the Bar in England and the British Virgin Islands.

Before joining the Bar, Judy practiced in the International Litigation and Arbitration Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Judy’s matters often have an international element: she has experience of numerous jurisdictions and has represented clients in Courts and Tribunals in England, France, Luxembourg, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cayman Islands. She has worked extensively in Asia and is fluent in Chinese.

Judy sits as an arbitrator and has experience both as sole arbitrator and as part of a panel.
