Aneliya Vazharova
Chief Financial Officer, LexisNexis UK & Ireland
Aneliya leads the Finance team for LexisNexis in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Her role includes not just providing financial control and governance but moreover ensuring that Finance is recognised as a valued business partner with team members providing direct analytical support to the leadership team.
During her time in LexisNexis she has supported various business units from Enterprise Solutions to the UK Go-To-Market organisation, focusing on improving local analytics capabilities, driving collaboration with sister companies, and coaching and developing members of the Global Finance organisation.
Aneliya started her career at Cisco Systems as part of a graduate trainee programme, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She did multiple rotations across a broad range of functions, building a strong commercial approach to finance and understanding the business context she operates within.
Aneliya enjoys travelling and is a sports enthusiast, enjoying ski slopes in the winter and playing tennis in the summer. She also loves a good chocolate.
