E1.577 Income from securities issued by designated international organisations

E1.577 Income from securities issued by designated international organisations

Income arising to a non-UK resident in respect from a security issued by an organisation is exempt from income tax if the organisation has been designated by the Treasury for the purposes of this exemption and the liability only arises because one or more of circumstances A to C below apply1.

Circumstance A is that the security is issued in the UK or in sterling2.

Circumstance B is that the income is made payable or paid in the UK or in sterling3.

Circumstance C is that the organisation maintains an office or other place
