E1.524 Income from individual investment plans

Power is given for regulations to be made to exempt income from an individual investment plan, such as an ISA (including a junior ISA), from income tax, or from income tax to the extent specified in the regulations1. This power has been extended to:

  1.  

    •     include income from investments treated as an individual's income under ITTOIA 2005, s 629 (income paid to relevant children of settlor, see I5.1130)2

  2.  

    •     provide for ISAs to retain their tax-advantaged status following the death of the account holder. This will mean
