I9.414 Open-ended investment companies

Investors in open-ended investment companies (OEICs) own shares in the company, but do not have any rights to the underlying investments1. OEICs are authorised unit trusts in corporate form and as companies, their locality and the locality of investments in them follow the normal rules for companies and shares2.
