I5.550 Examples of trusts for bereaved minors (TBMs)

The following are some examples of where settled property will be subject to the TBM regime:

  1.  

    (a)     Where a person dies intestate, the statutory trusts for issue under the Administration of Estates Act 1925, ss 46, 47(1) in respect of any part of his estate will be trusts for bereaved minors. This will be so whether the trusts are just for the intestate's children, or for the children of any child of his who has predeceased him.
