D9.446 Interest in default—general

Where there has been a failure to make payments of interest on a security, the value of the right to receive future payments of interest on a transfer of the security may be less than the amount due. In such a case, the AIP and AIL are calculated by reference to the value of the right on the next interest payment day1.
