D8.186 Transitional provisions

Transitional provision apply for both exempt unauthorised unit trusts (EUUT) and non-exempt unauthorised unit trusts (NEUUT) as follows. See D8.181 for the definitions. In addition where a unauthorised unit trust (UUT) is a 'mixed unauthorised unit trust' (MUUT) the pre April 2014 provisions (D8.175) continue to apply1. A MUUT is defined as a trust which at all times in the period beginning with 24 May 2012 and ending with 5 April 2014 has at least one unit holder which was an 'eligible investor' and at least one unit holder which was an 'ineligible investor'.
