D1.462 Interest on vaccine research tax credits

Vaccine research tax credits were only payable to SMEs. As VRR for SMEs was repealed in relation to expenditure incurred on or after 1 April 2012, the following provisions only apply for expenditure incurred before 1 April 2012.

For accounting periods in respect of which a payment of vaccine research tax credit is made, the following amendments have effect as regards the provisions governing interest on tax overpaid1:

  1.  

    (a)     payments of the vaccine research tax credit are included within the categories of payments to which those provisions apply2;
