C3.1804 Exempt gains—interests in settled property

If the person for whose benefit an interest under a settlement was created by the terms of the settlement disposes of that interest, no chargeable gain or allowable loss normally arises, unless the settlement has at any time been non-resident or the settled property is derived from a settlement which has ever been non-resident1.
