A7.203 Meaning of 'tax advantage'
The meaning of 'tax advantage' is widely construed. To be caught, the arrangements must enable, or be expected to enable, an 'advantage' to be obtained in relation to income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax or annual tax on enveloped dwellings, and such an advantage must be either the main, or one of the main, benefits expected to arise1. The term 'advantage' in relation to a tax means:
