A4.328 Extended time limit—partnerships and UK or European Economic Interest Groupings

Where an assessment for carelessness or deliberate understatement of tax is issued to a person who carried on a trade, profession or business in partnership with one or more other persons at any time in the period for which the assessment is made, an extended time limit assessment in respect of the profits or gains of the trade, profession or business may be made not only on the person in default, but also on his partner or any of his partners1.
