A3.711 Tribunal Procedure Committee

The Tribunal Procedure Committee (TPC) is the body established by statute to make the rules for the Tribunals1. It is a non-departmental advisory body sponsored by the Ministry of Justice2. The members of the Committee are appointed by Lord Chancellor, the Lord Chief Justice and the Lord President of the Court of Session3. The Senior President of Tribunals (or a person nominated by him) is also a member, and he may request an appointment or a person with knowledge or experience of a particular issue.
