A1.708 Enforcement of orders in favour of the Crown

Any order made in favour of the Crown against any person in any civil proceedings may be enforced in the same manner as in an action between subjects and not otherwise1.

The old writs of execution formerly sued out by the Crown are not now in use, and the Debtors Act 1869 is now applied to sums of money payable and debts due to the Crown2.
