1.3.5     Paying employees

There is no specific legislation that dictates the frequency or method of employees' salary payments. There is, however, a legal requirement to provide a payslip clearly displaying the earnings paid for the period, taxes, and other deductions made, and it must include the employees' National Insurance number.
