1.3.4     Remitting SDL

Employers must pay a Skills Development Levy (SDL, see 2.2.3). Payment is required within 14 days of the end of the month to which it applies (SDL regulations, s 3). The SDL can be paid together with the monthly CPF contributions using the CPF EZPay system (see 1.2 and 1.3.3).

Employers who only have foreign employees pay the SDL directly to SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (SSG) through the E-Payment service.

Alternatively, employers can pay directly to SSG either by issuing a crossed cheque payable to 'Skills Development Fund' or by direct credit. Such payments
